Dear Mr Polier,
I am in the process of obtaining a Master's degree in Private Law at Panthéon-Assas university. It would be a great
opportunity for me to apply my theoretical knowledge to a real life work enviromment in your firm.
Earlier this year I did an internship at an American international mobility enterprise Cartus. My division helped
expatriets with legal aspects of settling in France includig social security, health insurance contributions,
reimboursments and other legal aspects of relocation.
In 2014-2015 I spent five months working as a wolunteer lawyer in Riga at Transparency International. It is non-
governmental organisation that fights corruption. We were doing reasearch to expose government fraud and
informe the public of how to avoid it.
Prior to that I was an intern at the Riga administative court. I was making sure that case files are complete and
providing assistance to the parties involved in court cases. This experience allowed me to better uderstand how the
judicial system works. I also learned about individual behaviours of plaintiffs and defendants and how to provide
better assistance in situations that are often stressful for them.
I speak four languages and have lived in multiple countries. Thanks to this I have had the possibbility to work with
people of different nationalities not only as a lawyer but also as a member of differet student organisations. At the
moment I take part in projects organized by AEGEE-Paris. We host international events entirelly based on volunteer work.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this application and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Yours sincerely
Liana Nuksevica
