In computer-aided teaching, educational content must be in digital format to be stored in repositories and shared among multiple users. The creation of these digital resources, henceforth learning objects (LOs), is a costly task because it demands beyond the knowledge of the content, technical knowledge. Each LO has data on its content called metadata, which follow a standard to facilitate retrieval of the LO. Usually the teacher does not master the techniques for creating such metadata.
