The bar chart illustrates the predicted amount of jeans that will be sold by two main brands – Mango Co. and Jack and Jones Co. – in Turkey over the period from January to December 2016. Units are measured in thousands of pairs.

Overall, in terms of both brands, the number of jeans sold over the year in steadily increasing. In all months – excluding July and August – products of Jack and Jones will be more popular than trousers of Mango.

Regarding to Jack and Jones, the brands starts the year with approximately three times higher sales than Mango, but they experience a significant drop in the following month. Then steady increase can be seen until summer, when the figures seem to be stagnating around 400 thousand of pairs. Despite of this lower period, from September a new blooming period comes, furthermore, in Decemberthey reach the peak of sales around 900 thousand pairs, which is almost double than the amount they had in the beginning of the period in question.

This increasing tendency can be seen in terms of the other brand too. In regard to Mango, their overall sales will be lower than Jack & Jones’, however they triple their sales over the given period. They experience stagnating sales during longer time than the other brand – from August to November. Nevertheless they also reach their best result in the last month of the year at about 600 thousand pairs, which is a third less than the amount of jeans sold by the competing company.
