Hey guys,

I'm new to this site, and the reason I've appeared here is that the site I used to use for writing in English has recently changed its policy. It doesn't suit me anymore and I'm eager to find some new resources where native speakers help each other master writing skills. I am also interested in getting to know the local community and make sure that my knowledge of Russian can help those who are interested in it.

I should tell a couple of words about myself. I'm a professional theater director and educator from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I also love learning English and I teach Russian online. I think that, working in the humanitarian field, one has to be immersed in multiple disciplines. Even if you specialize in one, it's always better to overstep it to see how universality embraces the world. So learning languages and teaching them are tightly intertwined with what I do when teaching theater or staging. In 2018-2019 I spent 8 months as a Fulbrighter in the United States teaching theater techniques at two universities. I learned a lot from this experience and I'm sure that, despite all ordeals we have right now, sooner or later the world will get back to the idea of one global community. Diversity and unity are two realities that paradoxically will follow us wherever we go. There's no chance to avoid finding the solution for this dilemma. That's why I'm here.

Thank you for reading and let's talk!
