I will be happy if you check my letter for mistakes
Dear Beate,
Thanks so much for your card!
I really loved staying at yours in March and I am going to miss you. How are things without me?
We moved to Kiev. At the moment we live in a nice district. There is everything I need near our house: a park. a pond, a health club, several supermarkets and even a good outlet shop.
Actually I am not wroking much at the moment. But I teach German via Skype to a young man who wants to move to Germany. It is much more comfortable in comparison to my old commute to Hamburg. I don´t even need to leave my house!
The house is actually very nice - see the pictures. Our flat isn´t very big, it´s actually very small, but very modern and comfortable. I think, there´s still enough place for our family. But when the child is two or three, we will have to move to another place. I hope, we´ll manage to buy a flat by that time. We´ll see.
It is the first time I don´t learn the language of the country I live in. It is stupid but I can´t. Most people speak and everyone understands Russian, so I don´t have much motiviation. I still have some problems occasionally when I must speak or write Ukranian, but such situations aren´t very often.
My husband sends his love - He is still at work. He has been working quite a lot the other days. Remember: You don´t need a visa to come to Kiev and there are a lot of chip flights from Hamburg. You, Hans and the children are always welcome.
Anyway, that´s about it for the moment. Look after yourself and keep in touch.
All the best,
Anna
P.S. I´m in Hamburg at the end of Oktober. I want to close my bank account. Do you want to meet for dinner?
