According to an article that I read some months ago, there are a variety of sources of inspirations to writers. The one I remember is to spend time with children. The reason is quite obvious, the children have an entirely different mind.  Do you think that that means that all of us had potential as writers when we were girls and boys?
The true is that as adults we surprise how children are able to handle intelligent conversations, they say things, any sort of things, so naturally always honest and surprisingly mature but the same time innocent.
