Hi. I'm Paulo from Brazil.

I'm married, 43 years old, I have two "eternal" babies! (17 and 25 years old). I'm safety engineer and I work for an Instituition that represents the sugar cane mills in my state. I studied English about 10 years ago and I haven't practiced it since then. I'm looking for partners to improve my English skills. I can help with Brazilian Portuguese. 

Talking about my profession, Safety Engineer is the área that takes care of people's health and safety, developing rules and procedures to prevent them agaisnt accidents and diseases in the workplace. It's also responsible to make safety studies about the environment and to ensure the compliament of the company wiht the health, safety and enviromental laws. 

In Brazilian regulations, all the companies with more then 50 empolyees, depending of their risk graduation, to have a safety professional (technical or engineer) in their staff. 

For safety professionals there are many interesting fields in this area to specialization.
