After obtaining a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires I went on to occupy postdoctoral positions at the University of Granada, Dublin City University and, most recently, the Italian National Research Council. I have ten years’ experience as a researcher in the field of photochemistry, photophysics and photobiology. I am proficient in the use of UV-visible spectroscopy, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, steady-state fluorescence spectroscopy, fluorescence confocal microscopy, time-resolved fluorescence confocal microscopy, and general wet chemical techniques. I have co-authored eleven scientific articles in the fields of photochemistry and photophysics, all of which have been published in renowned peer-reviewed journals. I have trained and supervised PhD students and postdocs. In addition, I have lectured on Analytical Spectroscopy for two years at Dublin City University. Eight years of interactions with top researchers have honed my verbal and written communication skills. I have given two oral presentations at congresses. I am able to use different software for image processing (MATLAB and ImageJ) and data analysis (MATLAB, OriginLab, and Sigmaplot). I can work both independently and as part of a team.
