Mediterranean diet is a trend topic diet considered the most worldwide healthy one.
This is based on fresh vegetables and fruit, grains and legumes. Little poultry meat and eggs, highlighting the protagonism of the seafood. Nevertheless, ingredients are not the difference with the rest of diets, the real kernel is how you cook all of these, the simple you can and overall, the lack of sauces.
I grew up without awareness about how important was this diet because I born in its epicentre, a city settled by the Mediterranean coast. Despite this personal fact, be Mediterranean is not just about the diet, also involve a lifestyle; Sunny days, active sports, be so outgoing... these factors altogether make happier and healthier people.
In conclusion, the Mediterranean diet is not a special way to be fed, it is not a passing trend and neither a cool option. This food is my culture and legacy, all of the dishes I prepared are the memory of my loved ones. The taste of each ingredient, moments from my past.
