1. Cali will have owned a new train that can connect the center of the city with the nearby territories by the year 2030 The project to invest in the new train has been projected since last year but taking into account all the delays due to lack of budget and the pandemic, I predict that this may be a reality and we will have been enjoying this trip by 2030.
2. Cali's mayor will have suspended Cali fairs and festivals in December by the end of this year because the tourism won’t have reactivated. Even though the lockdown is almost finished in Cali because all the restaurants, movie theaters and business are running normally, the number of deaths is growing progressively due to COVID and I think we won’t have been enjoying the traditional Cali fair by this December
3. We will have driven over the new bridges between the fifth avenue and Sixteen street by 2035 There is a current traffic jam between streets 100 and 16 that occurs during rush hours and it takes people more than thirty minutes to cross it. The city plans to build a bridge, a large construction that can reduce the time to cross and avoid traffic jams on those streets. So, in my opinion, it will have been built by 2035.
4. Foreign capital investment will have increased by 5% in Cali by 2024 The drop in oil prices made our money lost value. Now with one American dollar it is possible to get 3800 Colombian pesos, so for foreign companies to manufacture in the country will be much cheaper. I hope the violence doesn’t rise as much for the companies don’t be afraid to invest in our city and the percentage can go up in five percent.
5. The population of Cali will have delighted with a huge water amusement park that will rocket the tourism by 2040 Because of the warm wheatear that Cali has with temperatures that oscillate between 19 and 32 centigrade all the year, we need a special tourist place like other regions have. We need to be more than salsa dance and shows and have a big water amusement park for the family that we will have enjoyed by 2040
