Everyone strives to succeed in life. We all know that real life is extremely unpredictable, so it is difficult to be sure which particular features really influence our success. However, I am pretty sure that the extremely important person's characteristic which helps to be successful is intelligence. I will try to proof my idea with two reasons. To begin with, an intelligent person more likely achieves the ambitious career goals even in difficult situation. My family provides me with great example approving this assumption. My brother had lost his money after failing the business he was involved in. It was the terrible stroke, but he could survive it. He is a very intelligent person with degree in engineering and MBA-diploma. He managed to run his own business and now he is a highly successful businessman. I am sure that without his brilliant education and intelligence he couldn't achieve it. Secondly, intelligence helps us to get in well with other people. An intelligent person understands his relatives, friends, colleagues, and can build great relationship with them. It is very helpful, for example, for have a happy marriage. My favorite teacher is an extraordinary example how intelligence helps to create and safe happiness. Her husband and she went through the dark times, sometimes they were close to extremely poverty and homelessness. Such terrible conditions destroyed lots of families. However, my teacher understood how to manage with all difficulties, how to support her husband and never afford external conditions to destroy their life. Her wisdom helped she and her husband never forget about one another and be together regardless any difficulties. To sum up, intelligence is the most important characteristic of a successful person for two reasons. First, it helps to succeed in work, second, intelligence is very helpful in personal relationship.
