My best holiday was in 2008. I was at university and travelled with my classmates to Istambul. We enjoyed a lot there and visited a lot of monuments. The plain took off in Madrid airport, and the journey took about four hours. We stayed in Istambul nine days, and the hotel was very good, and breakfast was incluyed. In that city there are many markets and shop asssitans wanted to sell us their stuffs. But there wasn't any alcohol, so it was very difficult to buy a beer or have a drink. We also went to a Turkish bath where they take us a massage, and we have a bath with really cold and then hot water. My favourite place was Santa Sofia, a very large mezquita (I don't know this word: a religious place for muslims), but before it had been a church. We also visited the Topkapi palace, where sultans lived many years ago, and Galata tower, a really big tower where we saw all the town. We travelled by ship too a long the Bosforo. It was a great trip and sometimes I see the photos to remind it.
