mass migration in the USA meant that wages were driven down since immigrants were ready to work for longer hours and for less money than Americans. The USA has the highest total number of immigrants and many of them come from Mexico to find a better paid job. However, this means that in Mexico, the outflow of workers reduces job competition and so the level of wages increase. This also means that Mexican entrepreneurs are losing money because the cost of paying wages to workers is high. On the other hand, the USA has a growth in job competition in the labour market, which leads to a rise in wages and as a result American workers suffer great losses. Despite this, the United States has a large migrant workforce, who are ready to to earn less than American workers.

What about government of this country which has many immigrants? The government have to spent their money on maintenance of public order, safety and social spending. However, on the other hand, the country has ready workforce, without incurring the costs for education and professional trainings.

The second issue with immigration is remittance. People living outside the country of their birth send the earned money home. Immigrant’s remittances contribute to the social and economical situation in their home country. The flow of remittances contributes to an increase in the level of consumption, investments in education and health of the relatives of migrants. The quality of life in the countries of remittance is growing.

The consequences for country which take an immigrants is absolutely differ. The capital flows out of country’s economy. Outflow of remittances can cause currency depreciation (devaluation). It is shown that the government of a developing country may restrict capital outflows if domestic economic conditions became more poor.
