I don´t have any doubt about which dish is my favourite. It is "paella".

In spite of being an traditional dish from the eastern part of Spain it is extremly popular with people from all the country.

There are different recipes for this dish, but the most important ingredients are olive oil, rice and saffron. In fact paella can be made with fish, seefood, chicken, rabbit and different kinds of vegetables, such as artichokes, beans, peas, pepper,...

In the past, my mother used to cook paella on Saturdays. I have very good memories of the family enjoying having lunch and talking sitting around the table.

Nowadays I love cooking paella, you can vary the ingredients according the things that you have in the fridge. So I find it easy to cook and it takes less than one hour.
