I read the story The fisherman and his soul by Oscar Wilde. Although it remaines a bit the Andersen's story,  it is more interesting for me and deeper. The writer compares different human feelings like love, suffer, reliability and heartless. I think Wilde wanted to show up the difficult of choice among feelings. It's a beautiful and wise tale!
