We hope you have an enjoyable and pleasant stay. We are providing you with this reference manual for the apartment. We would most certainly appreciate that you follow the basic guidelines appearing hereinto.

  1. Basic Rules

The main standard we ask to our guests is mutual respect and the considerations to the following:

  • Low music is allowed after 11:00 PM in order not to disturb your neighbors.
  • Consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed in moderate amounts.
  • Partying is not permitted.
  • Please do not use any drugs on the premises under any circumstances.
  • Visitors that are not registered nor paying customers are not allowed to stay in the apartment.
  • Pets are allowed provided they are placed in its own cage in the laundry room area.

 

  1. Internet

The Internet connection is free, unlimited, and exclusive to the department and only accessed by WIFI. To obtain the internet signal look for the User: 'Depa Raul' and enter the following password: 'raul1986'.

  1. Cable-TV

The apartment is furnished with two 49 HD Plasma Screen TV sets. Both TV’s are connected to Cable TV via a company called Movistar which provides exclusive international and local channels.   Plug in the TV sets to the electric outlet, turn on the TV sets with their respective remote controls, and turn the modem with the remote control to obtain the cable signal.

  1. Landline phone

The apartment has a landline phone and its number is (084) 384-264. Please keep in mind that you can make local calls to other landline phones at no additional cost.  Use the phone to make calls to places such as restaurants, agencies, police, and clinics. Please do not use the landline phone to call cell phones as it is not permitted.

  1. Hot/Cold Water

The apartment has both hot and cold water in the main bathrooms, as well as in the kitchen. The gas ball’s stopcock needs to be in the open position (red knob up). The gas ball is in the laundry room.

  1. Kitchen

Our kitchen is fully furnished and has all the comforts. Please be aware that to be able to cook in the kitchen it is necessary for the gas ball stopcock to be in the open position (red knob up).

  1. Gas Balloon Replenishment

In case the gas in either that showers or kitchen finishes, you can replenish it by calling the local gas distributor yourself or contact your host to do the same on your behalf. 

A call needs to be made via the landline phone to the gas distributor indicating that you want to purchase gas in “PREMIUM BALL” and provide the address of the apartment which is “Malecon Huancaro E7, Residencial Huancaro, 3rd floor of a building with black screens.”   It is necessary to indicate that the residence is located in the corner of Rosales and Malecon Huancaro Street. 

The gas distributor will shop up within 15 minutes and will make sure that a complete and satisfactory service is provided. Please make a payment for the gas to the distributor.  Rest assured that the cost of the gas will be fully reimbursed upon the end of your stay.

  1. Entering and exiting the building

To enter or leave the building you can use the keys that will be provided to you. It is also feasible to use the electric door opening system from inside the apartment which is accomplished by pressing the large lower button on the building's intercom phone (the sound of the gateway will be heard). The intercom phone can be placed in the entrance to the kitchen.

The apartment is located in a multi-family building; hence, the gateway must always remain closed for safety reasons.

  1. Entering and Exiting the building after 10 p.m.

If you want to enter or exit the apartment after 10:00 PM, you have to be aware that the gateway is secured with a padlock between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  Use the respective corresponding key provided to you to open the padlock. To open the padlock with the key introduced: Press the button, turn the key and let of press the button.

If you want to enter or exit the apartment after 10:00 PM, you have to be aware that the gateway is secured with a padlock between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  Use the respective corresponding key provided to you to open the padlock. To open the padlock with the key introduced: Press the button, turn the key and let of press the button.

Waste disposal – the garbage truck has the following collection schedule:  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.  It is imperative that guests take out the trash and leave it on the corner post of the front sidewalk near the bridge at the specified time

  1. Nearby Minimarket

There’s a minimarket one block away from the apartment across the street from the intersection of ‘Rosales Street and Industrial Street’ in the event our guests need to purchase basic needs items. You can buy bread, milk, eggs, coffee, sugar, cookie, shampoo, chocolates, candies, rice, soda, yogurt, etc.

In case guests need a parking space, we recommend the following ones:

Please be advised that the City of Cusco from time to time stops water service from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM to save water. We request our guests to be patient and understanding regarding this matter.
