I'm a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at the Tsinghua University. My research interest is judicial politics. I'm currently working on a project called 'An analysis of China's administrative litigation judgment documents based on big data.' The background of this project is that China courts are publicizing all the documents about judicial cases and submitting them on the Internet. I could obtain these documents with the Data Mining technique. These documents convey a large number of valuable information. I want to explore the factors affecting the judicial outcomes of these administrative litigation cases. Dr. Martin's expertise is also judicial politics. He studies the judicial decisions of courts in America for decades. I want to work with him because I think he studies experience in American judicial decisions would help me understand that in China. Furthermore, this would contribute to a good comparative study in judicial politics.To conclude, the cooperation between Dr. Martin and I would be valuable.
