I don’t remember a lot of things of my school days. But everything I remember is good. I learned a lot and I met many people, some of them are still in contact with me.

I was at school from 1990 to 2003 in Canjayar, a little village near Almería. This village is so small that I only had to walk ten minutes to go to the school.

My school was a little building with 2 floors. On the ground floor, there was a gym that it was used as a dining room, among other uses. For example, at the end of each course there was a party in the gym where all the students had fun. On the second floor there were the classrooms. They weren’t so large and they had heating that made them warm and homely. Each class had 20 students, more or less; I think the same number of boys and girls.

Outside, next to the school, there was a big football field where we could play many types of sports like baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis and many others you could imagine.

The only point I didn’t like about the school was it didn’t have any place with cover. Therefore, when it rained we had to stay in classroom all day. So we hated when it rained because we couldn’t go out to the playground.

The best thing I liked about the school was the schedule, because I didn’t have to get up so early and I hadn’t to go to school at afternoon. For this reason, I didn’t have lunch at school. Only had a juice or milkshake at midmorning and then at 14:00 o’clock I went home to have lunch with my parents.

On the other hand, the teachers were friendly, kind and nice. Most of them were very involved in their jobs and made the classes interesting because they did funny activities for learning, like games, drawing and singing. In addition, we watched films and interesting documentaries.

From my school days I miss I had much free time and I was just worried about do the homework every day. Also I miss my classmates and the meetings we had after school. We enjoyed together and we were very happy.

I think the school period is an important time of our lives that never forget it.
