While in the beginning internet was only made as a possibility to exchange a lot of data between students, who were studying at universities. Later on internet spread over the world and there is no decrease visible, nor that we’ll return to a time before internet. Today the unimaginable amount of web sites are not overseeable for most of us - and we are partly frightened about the further development . Partly one wishes to remove applications from the screens and close pop ups that appear randomly . Some people think, that we were able by the end of 90th to stop or slow down this development – but we never had a chance. Compared with the machine destructions of the past – which nevertheless stopped the progress we can’t do it neither. I think, even if we can slow the progress, finally, it is unstoppable. Economy decides at the end -saving time and more comfort – let people like the new technique. Let’s remember how quick the development from records => tapes –> CD’s and DVD’s , to extern hard-drives and USB sticks took place. We have to recognize, that technical progress continually go it’s way. Unfortunately progress is seldom without side effects. It is the kind of handling a new technique which decides over addiction or a worthwhile use . All what is used in a balanced way brings along a personal success . Side effects, which can lead to health problem like adiposity ,eye and ear difficulties are often caused by an unlimited gaming - a continually hearing of pop-music via ear speakers , an steady bended neck- bone while using the smart phone. Huge financial interests of the Industry push the development forward – even if difficulties in radiation, by continually receive of wireless radiation have a negative influence to our health. What’s about set back all to the time of the internet beginning – Is it possible at all ? – I think not . Even tough, we could vary the one or the other development – the progress would have gone a comparable way , if we agree or not. The circumstances , the available manpower and finally the demographic development forced the economy to produce goods more effective , in shorter time and with less workers. In the last decade a lot of jobs were replaced by new technical solutions which act quicker, and with less mistakes. Today, hardly nobody can escape internet, direct or randomly. Because most of essential resources like electricity, , water supply , transportation are addicted by computers. In a society which is determined by effectiveness and profit, the loner, who refuses the new development – has to recognize that he can’t stop the present development. Finally , we are included in a process of adaption , which takes or gives us more of less spare time - but finally, but if don’t adapt it – to avoid finding oneself in an extern circle of the society. So let’s use the progress in a balanced way ,as far as it is to our own advantage. We should try to avoid a addiction . Let’s decide ourselves ,by heart how much we adapt – and not what we are to use or think - after the opinion of the enterprises .
