Following are three groups of sentences. I tried to use a different but adequate structure to restate sentence A. Please correct errors for me. Thanks a lot.( ^_^ )

1)A: Acre by acre, the rain forest is being burned to create fast pasture for fast-food beef.

   B: In order to produce fast-food beef, the rain forest is being burned into fast pasture little by little.

2)A: Keep engines running to prevent the metal parts from freeze-locking together.

   B: Engines have to keep running, otherwise their metal parts will freeze together.

3)A: We are ripping matter from its place in the earth in such volume as to upset the balance between daylight and darkness.

   B: So much matter has been ripped from its place in the earth that even the balance between daylight and darkness were disrupted by human beings.

4)A: We seem oblivious of the fragility of the earth's natural systems.

   B: We appear to forget how fragile the earth's natural systems are.
