Personality tests have mushromed every domain, from the job recruitment to meeting apps. All these online tests are based on the idea that it exists a perfect person for a referred job or a perfect matching mate: you will get easily hooked on the pursuit of that person as you will spend hours in front of a computer. 

The most popular of these tests is the MBTI tests which determines your personality within 88 questions. The most seeked personality is the extrovert tend one but it has a downside: extremely extrovert people tend also to selfishness. Nevertheless, you can change your tests results by cheating without changing yourself. The personality is fixed before the age of 21, but you can master other skills better than trying to be what you are not. 

Personality tests may be useful for recruitment agencies and if it is for the rest of people, perhaps it is to disabuse us of the illusion that we are full of potential able to do the impossible.
