Some people are for the current system of entrance exams in Japan puts too much pressure on children.
In Japan, it is often said that entrance exams are very keen competitive after that in South Korea. It is certain that most of the parents force their children to go cram schools after school since they were small. Therefore, for the entrance examiners, they have huge pressure to win the race.
However, I believe that children have to have those experiences and that’s a real beneficial thing when they will grow up.
On top of that, having pressure helps children improve their academic ability. If they don’t have such competitions on the exams, they would be rude easily. Probably children are likely to do playing games, watching TV while having junk foods or so on.
For these reasons, I am against the idea that the current system of entrance exams in Japan puts too much pressure on children.
