One of the ways to fight against poverty is through businesses. Several private sectors, institutions, and governments are interested in alleviating poverty through innovative business models. These organizations are aware that is possible bring together business and social development (Karnani 2007).

Alleviating poverty through business is viable, companies and entrepreneurs can make a significant contribution to human development within an IB model that benefit both sides, companies, and people living in poverty (Del Baldo 2014). Companies can improve the quality of life in developing countries using technologies that help to increase productivity and shift to more sustainable ways of consumption and production (Gradl and Knobloch 2010). There are relevant businesses and industrial fields that assist in meeting the abilities and needs of producers and consumers living in poverty, with their management know-how that makes grow successful models and expanded their reach.

One of the major purposes of the IB is to alleviate poverty, supporting global sustainable development. Poverty is a multi-faceted problem that covers issues like high population growth rates, low spending on health care, education and technology adoption and weak capital injection (Claudia Knobloch 2017).
