One could say that Bogotá had better times. Since we were at the school, we were told many stories about the fame and reputation of our city. They told us that the city looked beautiful with its tram and its architecture ─and not only the colonial architecture, but also that of the buildings from the beginnings of the twenty Century. In the 1930s Bogotá was a small city of least than four hundred inhabitants. Now Bogotá has more than seven million inhabitants, but that fast increase has not been followed by good planification. Bogotá is still a beautiful city where people enjoy living. Even in the slums where people find themselves in difficult situations people talk by one another and try to improve the conditions of their lives. If you want to come to Bogotá, you should expect to find a city with loads of places to visit, friendly and hospitable people and wonderful landscapes to look at.
