The presidency of cop24 plans to focus on three key themes wich are : Technology (development of climate-friendly modern solutions) , Man (solidary and transition of industrial regions) and Nature (supporting achieving climate neutrality).

To fulfill these objectives, our association REFEDD (Réseau des Etudiants Français pour le Développement Durable ) aims to make students and campuses aware of how to evolve towards a sustainable operation.

REFEDD is mainly concerned with food, but the goal would be to inform and mobilize as many people as possible on the campus, be they students, professors, employees or even volunteers, of any discipline. Each could bring his knowledge in different discipline fields and help each other for the different projects put in place. Thus people with knowledge in computing could take care of the information by the social networks, others could take care of the management, others of the construction.. So that the project is realisable and the tasks distributed, sevral associations would be involved, whether student associations or partners wanting to join the project. Each person wishing to participate in the project of a sustainable campus will be able to choose in which association he prefers to participate.

The REFEDD is part of a larger project that concerns everyone, regardless of age, means or discipline.

The project would be structured around major themes:

  • Food : ensuring local products, avoiding waste and managing rubbish

  • Biodiversity : by diversifying the plant species present on the campus, or by setting up hives, bird and chiroptera houses.

  • The climate : by making the campus more accessible to public transport, by managing water and electricity resources.
