Good morning, I am here because I want to inform about a rob. I have suffered this rob when I was walking in the center of the city-

I don't live in this city  and I am here for work. To be honest, I never thought that it could happen to me  because I am usually  a very suspicious person.

The incident occurred of the following way: after a job meeting I decided going out until dinner time to visit the city.

I am a independient person since I am used to travelling alone frequently.

I was strolling quietly when I noticed that a tramp was watching me in a suspect way.

Maybe, he realized that I am a foreign thanks my photo camera. As soon as I had undertood his purpose, I thought in walking quickly to another area with more people but it was too late.

I used to think that that this city is safe but now, my opinion has changed.

I feel insecure and I am afraid of walking alone in the street.

If I had known that it was so dangerous goes out at night in this city, I would have stayed in my hotel that night.

Thanks for helping me and you haven't  to tell me where the egress is. I know the way.

p.s. I know that I don't explain how was the rob :)  Please, correct to me only the grammar.
