The film “Back to the future” was directed by Robert Zemeckis. It stars Michael Fox as Martin McFly and Christofer Lloyd as Doc Brown. The film won an Oscar prize in 1985 for sound editing.
The film is set in a fictional town called Hill Valley, California, in 1985. It was filmed in Universal studios backlot. The film’s producer, Bob Gale, said that it was impossible to shoot the film on location because no town would have accepted to modify some places to look like in the 1950s.
The film is about Doc Brown and his friend, Marty Mcfly. The first of them invented a time machine and because of a fault related with the plutonium required by the machine, Doc Brown dies, and Marty has to travel in time to 1955. Once there, Marty looks for Doc Brown of the past and tell his story: He was compelled to travel to the past and he has not the plutonium required by come back to the future. They organize a plan in which Marty will come back to the future by the help of a light. However, during his stay, Marty accidentally meets his father and, with the intention of saving his life, he ruins the moment by which his father would meet his mother. Thereby, his mother meets him instead of his father. Now he has to find the way to joint together his parents before the day in which the light stroke.
I strongly recommend Back to the future. It is an exciting and well-built film with a fantastic soundtrack. Besides, it has two sequels, back to the future II and Back to the future three. I think that all three were filmed at the same time –at least the first two were- and when you saw the first one, you definitely will want to see the sequels.
