Yesterday we joined a guided hiking tour in Wulai, which is a small town in New Taipei City and famous for its hot springs and aboriginal culture. I have been to Wulai for several times, but I never really liked it because of the messy street view and ugly shop signs. However, this time we went farther into the mountainous area, and I found the scenery is beautiful. The hiking trail was built alongside the stream, so we can hear the sound of the flowing water during the whole trip. Our nature-loving, enthusiastic tour guides gave us detailed explanations of the plants and insects we met on the way. We also saw several waterfalls coming down from the cliffside. I really enjoy being surrounded by the nature, and wish I could visit it again soon.
