In our modern lives this is as normal as breathing, and we are not totally aware of the bad we are doing to our health. Almost every scientist and researcher all over the world do agree on the subject: we don’t eat proper food. Furthermore, they beg us to quit eating junk food and sugary drinks ASAP. 

 

Within the last twenty years, we have been witnesses to the biggest spread of obesity, diabetes and even cancer. A big part of our health issues are due to our lifestyle added to a poor, unhealthy diet. Even the World Health Organization has made a point on the subject: placing a tax on sugary drinks and junk food will help to diminish diseases related to its consumption.

 

In conclusion, having to pay more for unhealthy food may prevent people from buying it, producing the same effect as the tobacco tax, which has turned up as the best way of keeping young people from smoking almost only because of its affordability.
