For many months I've been watching a football trainer (or a soccer coach? I'm not sure which might work better. Probably the first expression is used in the UK, while the second one in the US?) He coaches very young boys. First I met him on the big school stadium where I used to jog. Before the pandemic hit the stadium had been repaired and then closed for strangers\outsiders. However, the little company - a man and his trainees - moved to the small soccer playground situated next to my house. Now I can see him teaching them right through my window.

He's a character. He doesn't care that the boys are that little and shout at them pretty often. I'd say that he deals with them as if they're adults. His voice is always hoarse  - maybe because they train outdoors in any weather. They look up to him, as well as their parents who earlier often brought the future soccer stars to the big school stadium. I was curious to see if they would be outraged, but they just watched the workouts in awe.

He seems to be a good professional. I know nothing about his former career as a soccer player, but I see that he's a very passionate teacher who's ready to spend all his time and give all his energy to his young boys. Most likely, the boys have a hard time dealing with his manners, but that's the price they are ready to pay for their future.
