When I was a child, my parents had a garden with strawberries.
At the right season, we used to check regularly colour of the strawberries to find out whether they were ripened or not.
At the best moment, we were picking them and it was delicious.
They were flavourish, with a nice sweet flesh both colourful and firm.
Now, I usually eat strawberries bought from a shop.
They are always good looking, but they never taste as good as those good old ones from my childhood.
Maybe strawberries are really different now or maybe my memory is not objective.
Human memory is not fully faithful nor reliable.
