Here in Spain, most people use to drink coffee instead of tea. But I think that in the last few years, tea consumption has raised substantially. For me... Well, I prefer tea to coffee. In my twenties I used to drink milk coffee. It was sometimes too hard for my stomach, mainly in the morning. So I switched to tea. I find tea smoother than coffee. In fact, some people say that tea is not tasteful enough, and they prefer the strong flavour of coffee. Tea keeps me sharpen, focused and concentrating as coffee does, but is not harmful for my stomach!. Moreover, is easier to make a mug of tea than a cup of coffee. Just heat water in the microwave oven an put a pair of bags in it!. My personal recipe is as follows: I put a mug half filled with water in the microwave oven. Then, when it is about to boil, I add a pair of tea bags (I prefer black tea to green tea for this recipe, but you can use whatever tea you like). Then, let it stand for a pair of minutes and then add a touch of powder cinnamon and a mite of powder ginger. Mix it up an fill the mug with milk. If you can avoid the temptation of adding sugar, try it as is. In summer, I use to have a teapot of light cold green tea in the fridge. Thank you very much!!
