I've been learning for one and a half year. The first five moths were at college, I used to take classes in the mornings five times a week during two hours everyday. I really liked it but I only learnt grammar and spelling for a intermediate level. Then, I left my classes and I didn't study anything for five months. So, the pandemic started and I had to work from home, due to it I thoungh that I shuld practice and improve my skills in English, particulary Speaking. Then, I created an account on mixxer and found an amazing partner.

To be honest, I was very scared to learn English because pronuntiation is very difficult and I started learning to old (22 years olds). However, I need it if want to find a good job an improve my quality of life so I tried it.

At first, they were basics conversations, about my day, my family, goals, etc. We practiced 30 minutes twice or three times a week and I was really nice because I managed to defeat my shyness. It was the first time I spoke in English with a native speaker. We continued practicing four months more.

Sadly, since two weeks ago she stopped talking to me regularly. She told me that it would be a temporal situation but I'm not sure about it. I'm worried because I feel if this lasts longer I could loss the interest to learn English as one year ago or she could be too busy to talk to me anymore.

On the other hand, I'm possibly thinking a lot of this because I will be back to my office at the end of the year and maybe my schedule won't be as flexible as it is now.
