The idea of transferring knowledges is not new.

It appears in many sci-fi stories. One of my favorites was written by Isaac Asimov. He is one of my favorites writer.

The story tells about a future where people don't know almost anything until the key day when the receive the "education" a process where they are connected to the machines. The machines like an inception in their brain teach them.

After the process the main character can read and understand all messages, ads, books.

Another story that I remember discuss about this topic is the psycological Japanese sci-fi anime Paprika. The story tells about some experiment where people is connected to some devices that permit enter in their dreams.  

Originally this devices was created for medical purpose: psychotherapy treatment.  

But scientists realized someone have stolen some devices and is using them to control them.
