Dear Mrs Hopkings. 
I am writing to apply for the Travel Competition that appeared in the local magazine last Sunday. I would like to have the opportunity to participate in the travel competition as a member of your team.
I am eager to go on a trip because I have been travelling all throughout South America for several years now. Therefore, I have a lot of experience as far as food, language and local tradition are concerned. I get on well in groups and I am healthy and strong. I am a professional photographer that it will come at handy later. 
So far I have been in 10 countries. I have learned 3 languages and have filmed over 1.000 thousand hours of footage. I am currently working on my new Youtube channel which is all about travelling. I would really love to be able to show the camaraderie of the Travel Competition. I know that taking that step in my career would help me the long term.
I am glad I can submit my application to this well-known competition.
