The majority of people agree that the violent content shown on television will bring, as a consequence, an increase of the violent behavior among the youngest population. Some people believe that children and teenager are being partially educated by TV programs, and society has to prevent mental insanity in young people as a result of their exposition to brutal content. In opposition, a group of people assure that this cruelty is an important part of life, and it can’t be banned from media.  In my opinion, violence on television must be handled by the parents in a first instant, and them they should decide what sort of TV shows their sons could watch.

Studies have found, that a 60% of the criminals put in jail were unsupervised TV watcher in their childhood. This behavior is a result of the lack of criteria in the early ages of life; children and adolescents are like sponges, absorbing knowledge from everything around them, and if it is not controlled, they barely could discriminate between good and evil.

On the other hand, it is well known that the violence and brutality are parts of the daily life, and it is recommended that people become familiar with this in their growth, in order to be prepared for their adulthood. But in this case, the parents have the main responsibility to establish what subjects their sons are capable of understanding and which not.

I agree with the fact that television must be seen with a well-developed criterion, and in the case of not growth up people, it is wiser to establish parental filter or just pay attention in the shows that youth are watching.
