Living abroad

Have you ever lived abroad? If your answer is YES, you are going to understand me perfectly. It doesn`t matter if you are spanish, english, german... Living abroad is one of the best experiences that anyone can have in the life.

I just remember the day, at the University, when I received my grant to finish my studies in Holland. It was my lucky day. I was going to live in other country which was different to Spain. I was very excited, but at the same time, I was nervous. It was going to be my first time abroad.

Few months later, I was already living in the Netherdlands. Everything was completely different to the place I lived in Spain, Malaga. Den Haag, the place where I was living in the Netherlands,  was colder than Málaga. So, in spite of it was summer there, I had to buy a coat.

Another different thing was that people used to go by bicycle to their jobs. That was something unusual for me, because I`ve never seen people in Malaga cycling to their jobs. That looks like me a great idea because they are caring the environment with this habit.

There was another thing that I had to change in my day to day. I wasn`t used to getting up at 5 a.m. in Málaga, but if I wanted to arrive to my English classes in time, I had to begin to wake up at 5 a.m. They have less sunny moments, so from my point of view it is a good point to try to get the maximun sunny moment very early in the morning.

In general, I could know a different culture, people very polite and friendly. I was spent there the most exciting year of my life, above all, when you are a teen. This experience opened my mind, and gave me the opportunity to enjoy other culture.

In conclusion, I would like to recommend the experience of living abroad to everybody. It is one of the best thing you can do it in the life.
