Various opinions will be expressed when it comes to the reason of attending a college or a university. Colleges and universities are the places where people can prepare for their future jobs and have some new experiences. Also, they are the places that provide students with knowledge from different fields. Therefore, my personal experience and the observation of live lead me to believe that career preparation, new experience and increasing knowledge are the most common reasons for attending to a college or university. Colleges and Universities are the place where people can learn the professional knowledge and skills. With the systemic education, students can major in some specific field. In addition, the diploma of a college or university is a certification of people's education level , and this helps them to be more competitive to others as well. There are a lot of activities in a college and university. Also, there are full of people from different backgrounds. To participate in a variety of activities such as student clubs, different competitions and parties, students can not only have many new experiences, but also know a lot of people by making friends with them. Colleges and Universities are a small society, by having many experiences and good interaction with people, students will have a better preparation before they enter to the big society. Colleges and Universities offer the most comprehensive knowledge. Besides studying one's major, students can enroll to other departments' courses, which can broaden their horizon and get a better understanding to the world. For example, students who major in foreign language also can minor in management, and they may be more competitive after they graduate. To sum up, knowledge is power. In order to have the best education, people tend to attend to colleges and universities for their future job opportunities, new experience andincreasing knowledge.
