Hi all, I'm writing a motivation letter for a university programme and I'm not sure if I'm happy with this paragraph. Feel free to give your opinions and correct it.

In 2010, I worked as an intern for a palm oil production company, based in the tropical forest. I was in charge of the protected area of the forest and their reforestation program. Between 2011 and 2015, I worked as an assistant in a mining project in charge of the mine closure planning. Both of these experiences made me understand how fragile ecosystems are, the importance of their restoration and their impacts in a social and environmental level .
