There are different perspectives about grading students in subjects related to arts such as music, drawing, and acting, being more likely for students to get good development in their academic performance. I personally think that it is important to give some flexibility when it comes to grading students in the school, in that way, they can develop better their interests and feel more inspired. I agree that it is extremely important to not grade students with notes in classes that are more practical.

To begin with, feeling pressured for getting a grade can affect the learning process. Moreover, students will be overwhelmed trying to accomplish grades and also fulfilling their assignments. Although, in some cases getting a grade motivates students to do better most of the time it becomes a big factor in stressful situations and creates barriers in the process learning of new abilities. A student who wants to get inspiration normally needs time in the creative process, and if there is pressure to submit and present a test the purpose of studying only to get the grade probably will stop their inspiration. Without grades, students will enjoy thorough practical activities in a class by spending more time creating and less time thinking in a paper evaluation.

Another point, students can allocate more time to leisure activities that bring inspiration. it is known that arts subject requires that students have more free time to practice in the classroom and less in learning abstract concepts in most cases. by being flexible with the assignments teacher will allow that student to do more practical exercises. Even though, the teacher is required to give an evaluation to the institution they work, being more creative in the way they teach and get the grades could make a difference in how the students perform. for instance, a teacher in a painting class can create an activity that involves creativity in the same class and evaluates based on what is observed at class time. as a consequence, this kind of activity will boost the creativity of students and also the teacher could evaluate how students are acquiring new practical concepts.

In summary, it is important in subjects related to arts to enhance creativity by spending less time rushing to study for an exam and instead gaining more practical experience in the classroom which will allow not only students to develop their imagination but also teachers to be creative now pedagogical tools based on activities prepared during the class.
