I saw [x] at the end of a sentence (a report by Reuters). It was like "...technologies designed by Google[x], the American company's development team. " What does this [x] mean?

What were the biggest strengths/successes of your Project Based Learning? 

The propose of the PBL was to lead students to get involved in a different community in order to create projects to transform its economy and quality of life.

This study will evaluate the effectiveness of CC in improving the quality of life of beneficiary families and the impact that different programs and partner organizations are doing in promoting families’ sustainability and community development. At the end, the study will indicate which efforts Constru Casa should focus more for the proper achievement of its mission statement.

Today is the first day,and it's aiso a good day. I wish me can improve my Englisn phiot. 

It is important to clarify that the present research will use a mixed method approach which combine quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis. It is usually employed to compensate of one type of data and method of analysis by supplementing it with the other. As a result, the research instruments have open questions looking for findings that can explain in more deeply sense why, or how of certain situations and conditions with the purse of obtaining a more complete analysis. 

An amazing thing happened while I was taking a nap close to the lake, you couldn't believe me! A giant creature was arising from the water, it looked like the mystical Loch Ness Monster. I was so excited that I was completely petrified admiring such astonishing scene. It took me a few of seconds to react, the longest seconds I ever lived. I hadn't moved nor a centimeter when the creature had already disappeared. Crazy, isn't it?

Since I met her, I felt confident about her. We were protesting against the devastation of an ecological reserve. My friend Rene is passionate about nature, she has been strongly influenced by her father which was murdered while he was facing animal's traffickers, a few years back. He taught her the deep principles that today govern her life: each creature in the world has the right to live and, we have to respect their living places otherwise we will break the subtle equilibrium on our planet.

When raw or primary information is gathered throughout the multiples instruments proposed by this research, and then be processed and organized in a database, the data analysis will basically follow the indication of a descriptive research evaluation. The purpose of this technique is to measure the results against some known or hypothesized standards suggested by the researcher.

Both results obtained in previous stages are fundamentals in the construction of the third one. A report contrasting and compering well-being results and social capital level of each community, will provide information regarding the level of impact made by different projects and partners organizations. The researcher considers really interesting to see the impact made by the follow up plan on families.

I remember I read an article about learning as an adult where the author clarifies why learning a foreign language as an adult is different to when you learn as a child. Please notice that the author said 'different' not hard. The point is that when you are growing your hearing as well as your speaking is adapting to the sounds surrounding you, to identify and imitate the sounds people do when they speak.
