The summer 2022
Este verano ha sido el que más he disfrutado, son como dos veranos en uno. Quizás por la pandemia y todos mis miedos. He ido con mis gemelos a Portaventura World.

Malcolm X & Thomas Sowell on White Liberals
Back in the 1960's, Malcolm X warned Blacks that they were nothing but pawns in the White liberals' political struggle for power, and as much as I disagree with him on many issues, I have to concur with him on this particular point.

Dr. Thomas Sowell went much further in his analysis of how White liberals use Blacks as "mascots", and what he wrote on the topic (e.g. his book Black Rednecks and White Liberals) can be extended to other minorities as well.

I very much doubt Malcolm X and Thomas Sowell have the same outlook on America, on whether Blacks should be a part of American society or go their separate way, etc., but I'm not surprised at all they came to similar conclusions regarding White liberals. As a nationalist, Malcolm X urged Blacks to do for themselves, not to rely on other people's help. As a conservative, Thomas Sowell doesn't think it's the government's job to help people, which is exactly what White liberals promise to do if elected.
In short, despite their different perspectives, they both want Blacks to stop behaving as helpless victims, which is exactly the part White liberals want us and other minorities (e.g Muslims) to play, so they can claim they're here to help us. I've had White liberals vehemently lecture me about racism as if it was something that affected them more than it does me. In hindsight, I think I should have played devil's advocate and defended White ethnonationalist positions just to mess with them. It really wouldn't be that hard for me anyway, as I honestly have much more respect for White nationalists, especially here in Europe, than for White liberals. In fact, I'm thinking about going even further and telling White liberals to their face they're the real racists. As I wrote in my post Back to Africa, I think they can be charged with a more subtle, hence more dangerous form of racism: the soft bigotry of low expectations.
The funny thing is there are other minorities White liberals just don't seem to care about at all; I'm thinking about Jews and Asians. There has been, on both sides of the Atlantic, violent attacks against Jews in recent years. Some people would like to blame these attacks on the Far Right; unfortunately for them, the agressors can hardly be mistaken for members of the Aryan Brotherhood.
What the left doesn't want to mention about NYC hate crimes (nypost.com)
On our side of the pound, most attacks against Jews, if not all of them, are commited by people of Muslim background. If White liberals are truly as concerned about racism as they claim to be, how are they suggesting we deal with the Jew-hatred that manifests itself so violently on both sides of the Atlantic? Next time one of them starts lecturing me about racism, this is exactly what I'm gonna ask.
blackberry and mulberry
I ordered some blackberries from a grocery store online, and they came this morning. This may be the first time I paid attention to a blackberry, but the first thing came to my mind was the deep red mulberries that I often ate when I was a little girl. My husband said they were not blackberries but mulberries, which I knew he was wrong, because mulberries taste pretty sweet, but blackberries are a bit tart.
