It's been a while since i practiced thoroughly my English, therefore i'd like to brush up my English. I love learning languages for a lot of different reasons including discovering new cultures and opening up my mind.

Mrs. Mari Yamazaki attracts me. She is a Japanese writer of comics and essay who actively work mainly in Japan and Italy, and is famous for the original comic series of the big-hit movie “Thermae Romae.”

In some books she wrote, she said that she visited Europe alone at the age of 14. It was her first experience going abroad. Later at the age of 17, she studied abroad in Italy to learn oil paintings. She had been there since then and had spent her severe 20's far from Japan.

I have a pal in Florida, an old American, who helps me a lot with my English. We met each other quite a while ago, when I was practicing my English on Italki. David didn't learn anything, he simply spent his time helping learners from all over the world study English. At that time, I was preparing to travel to the States to teach at two universities as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar. We had numerous talks on Skype during which my friend told me about his family, American politics, movies et cetera.
