Citing the Theory of Evolution, a dog is a domestic animal descendant of Wolf (it´s is indisputable, there are many papers about the topic). Now, what´s a domestic animal? Domestication involves a relationship between humans and animals or plants for our benefit, several examples of benefits: 1) food (raise animals to food: chicken, pig etc) 2) labor (donkey and mules) 3) Secondary products (wool) 4) Hunting (dogs) 5) Pets (Dog and cat).
