Today it is a festival of peach here in Japan. 

We make a big.... at least once upon a time big...display of wedding on a red carpet.

When a girl is born, the parents of the mother send a set of dolls to a baby.

We are supposed to decorate the set every year or it is once believed the girl will get married very late.

Some people even say dolls cry at night when they are not decorated.

We make sushi and soup of cram to celebrate the day.

This is a beautiful spring festival for girls.
