Is this phrase grammatical? For example, This is what I've wanted to talk to you. Is this sentence okay?

Personally I think it's not grammatically correct, and what I wanted to tell you is certainly far better. There are, however, two reasons why I post it here to ask. First, talk is not exclusively transitive, accordinig to the dictionary. For instance, talk business is used as a correct phrase. Second, being ungrammatical doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong. I'm not sure if native speakers of English really say it.

So I'd like to confirm its (in)correctness from native speakers. Thank you!
