The topic that I have to cover today is about annoys and regrets and I am going to divide it in four parts.
In the first part I will say a short introduction.
In the second part I will talk about things that annoys us.
In the third part I will talk about more common regrets.
And finally, I will some tips for avoid annoying and regretting every time.
Originally, this topic should be easy to express since we are continuously complaining about things or facts that annoy us, and we spend almost half our life regretting.
On the one hand, If I had to stand out two things that it annoys us specially I would say the lies and the iniquities. The lies because it makes feel us disappointed with other people or with ourselves and unfortunately we are so used to lie that we almost do it without thinking. For example, people are sick of cheater politicians and bankers, I wish they were more honest! In the same way, we could be more sincere with our friends or couples, I wish we were able to say that we think even when it’s difficult. Other important issues are iniquities, it really annoys me that some social classes receive social flats for free and later they have expensive cars and great screens at home. I wish our government would change our social politic and would use our money better. In a country where unemployed rate is 24% we are helping to find a job to the immigrants and meanwhile there is a great drain brain. I wish that would were different.
On the other hand, our lives are crowed of regrets, mostly at the end or when we have grown old. When we are young, seldom we heard pieces of advices from our parents and we are usually irresponsible, that’s why that later on we usually regret it and we feel embarrassed with ourselves, for example I wish I hadn’t signed a mortgage so expensive like my father said to me. Other mistakes that it makes us regret many times are those related with choices in our degrees or careers, for instance if had known about depression I wouldn’t have studied construction engineering. I wish I had chosen tourism or medicine.
To conclude, I would like to say that complaining won’t help to change something that annoys us, unless we make efforts to modify it. Similarly, we can’t change our past and we don’t gain nothing regretting, therefore if we focus on our present and future it will be much positive future and we only should learn of our past to don’t make the same mistakes.
