Topic:     Some people think that a sense of competition in children should be encouraged. Others believes that children who are taught to cooperate rather than compete become more useful adults.   Discuss both veiws and give your own opinion.

It is a common sense that team-work is one of the essential factors which can make our daily work more efficient. Parent or teachers  are prefer to teach children to cooperate , whereas to compete are relatively less.Maybe they think competion is more radical for children to some extent. But there are still some people think competition are also indispensable.

Cooperation spirit is widely used  in most of works, in particular when we are coping with some complicated tasks. Actually, there are a number of works are inpossible to be accomplished without a group's cooperation. For example, a construction project such as a bridge can not be built by one  person, it must needs some specialized people to design it. When the darwings are approved,  then they will be sent  to competent builders who are responsible for  building the bridge and also hundreds of skilled workers are involved during the buliding process. For children, learing how to cooperate sometimes  means learning how to help each other, as well as how to share. They must try to help  their partners when they face some problems in the same team-work assignment given by their teachers, otherwise the assignment could not be completed on time.Overall, cooperation is necessary in our daily works and children can benefit form it when they know what is cooperation and how to cooperate.

However, sense of competition  tend to be ingored by people. Actually children can benefit from it if  they have the awareness of   competition which can stimulate children become more positive and initialtive. If children's competition awareness founction well they will have the sense of crisis when they foud their academic performance fall behind thier friends. As a result, the sense of crisis could push them paying more painstacking endeavor on thier studies.By contrast, if some individuals lack the sensn of  competition, they are less likely to change their attitude. On the other hand, competition  never disappear in our contemporary society. If a company lack the spirit of competition, they would never realised their bussiness opponents were exceeding them gradually and easily be eliminated in their section. The sense of competition can bulit the sense of crisis, which could push people to improve their weak skills.

My view is that it is necessary for children to acquire the knowledge about how to cooperate with others, nevertheless it is also important to ecourage them to built a sense of competition. But in terms of competition, parents and teachers should guide them to compete in a resonable and righ way in case they might use some improper means.
