Nowadays, more and more cars are bought by people, and the cities are not prepared for this amount of vehicles. This is a big problem, not only for citizens who live there, it also affects our environment. This essay will discuss if the improvement in public transportation could solve traffic problems in cities.

Every single city has a public transport system, such as a bus, underground, taxi, ferry, train, etc. Public transport is useful for the whole population, however sometimes the transportation system is not enough efficient, and comfortable. For example when the bus is not in time, or is dirty. People should care for this problem and find a solution, as reporting when the employers do not do their work correctly.

Some cities had made a great decision about the use of private cars for example the government once a week warmed to the citizens stop using their cars for one day. In my opinion this alternative is effective and clever, because people will get used to take public transports and at the same time, they would save up some money.

To sum up public transport is a viable solution to traffic problems, moreover people will be benefit economically, and our environment will be heathier for us.
