Globalization is opening a new economical model in human history changing the old production patterns seeing since the beginning of the twenty century. Contrasting and comparing a manufacturing industry of 1900 with one  located right now in Chine, Taiwan or Mexico is possible to find many differences between them. With the beginning of modern times, the industries were essentially located in the first world where the advance of technology and science were applied to the idea of mass production and efficiency. Taylorism and Fordism were two productive models created in the US with the purpose of making assembly of goods more efficient and effortless. For example in the Ford plant, it was necessary having specialized tools, and machinery for speed, precision, and simplicity of operation. The mass production market of cars was leading the assembly of pieces through a conveyor belt. In a really funny way , one good example of this model of production was a film made by Chaplin named Assembly Line where he, as a real  human with all his defects and imperfections deals with a programmatic and automatize machine. The worker, Chaplin in this case, became so standardized and alienated that at the end of the shift he continues on the street doing the same repetitive movements what he was doing inside the factory.
